Aims & Objectives
A care agency offering quality person-centred domiciliary care service to people in the community, which include the elderly, people with learning difficulties, people with dementia, mental health issues, people needing respite care, drug and alcohol abuse, those going through rehabilitation after discharge from hospital and those individuals requiring palliative care.
- Ensure care provided adheres to the Equality Act of 2010 and is non-discriminatory in nature.
- Be transparent and accountable for our actions as an organisation and encourage both positive and negative feedback about the service being received.
- In consultation with our service users and their carers, provide information to enable them to actively participate in quality assessment of needs and the development of their care plans.
- Effectively liaise with other agencies involved in the care of our service users to provide continuity of care in a cost effective manner.
- Ensure all quality assessments relating to service users and their care are carried out and recorded in a timely fashion.
- Risk assessments are carried out in an appropriate manner to ensure service user’s safety.
- Provision of holistic care which is individualised and sensitive to the service user’s physical, social, emotional and psychological needs.
- Have a reflective culture as opposed to a defensive approach in the provision of the service.
- Promote the service user’s independence and treat them with respect and dignity.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Ensure care is provided by staff that are motivated, well-trained and confident to ensure service users feel reassured.
- Ensure there are systems in place to monitor service provision and quality, including benchmarking with other agencies and encourage service users to actively participate in giving feedback on the quality of the service.
- Policies and Procedures are communicated and adhered to at all times.
